About this collection

The Oral History collection contains selected oral histories that have been conducted by the James G. Gee library over the years. They encompass a wide range of topics from personal biographies to local/regional history.  The medium of the original oral history varies, depending on when it was captured.  It was likely either captured in an audio format, such as cassette tape, or a video format, such as VHS-C or mini-DV tape.  The majority of the oral histories in this collection are presented as transcripts only, though audio/video is included when permissions allow.
