About this collection

Founded in 1907, the Jefferson Carnegie Library is one of only five Carnegie Libraries still serving its original function in Texas. The Jefferson Carnegie Library digital collection contains historic photographs, documents, and other information related to the city of Jefferson and its role as one of the largest inland ports in Texas.
